Textbook renting has become very popular these days as students are realizing its benefits. They do not have to spend hundreds of dollars for books which they are never going to use it later. There are many websites offering this service and students can order any textbook from the comforts of his home. After registering for a website, student can search for a book by its title, author or ISBN number. Once the book details are known, the student has to choose the rental period or the period for which he requires the book for.

Depending on the site, there are number of options, most commonly being for full semester, a quarter or summer. The student can choose any one option and order. Once the rental period is over, the book has to be returned within a period of 15 days. At any point of time, the student can go to his account and request for change in rental period. While sending the textbook to a student, some companies also send a pre paid return envelope with the shipping label attached to it which makes it easier for students to ship the book back to the company when the rental period is over. It has become very easy for students to rent a text book these days; taking out all the hassles, and time involved in it.
